Meet Kayla. You can call her Kiko. She is the founder and owner of Kikos Kloset.
When Kayla launched Kikos Kloset, she wanted the brand to embody something bigger than just the sustainable aspects of shopping vintage.
She wanted Kikos Kloset to spark a joy recognizable to all.
How did she do this, you might ask? Well of course, as Kiko does, she began dancing… the universal language we can all share.
Kikos Kloset uses dance to showcase how good it feels to be in your body, in one-of-a-kind outfits, feeling free, beautiful, & self-assured. “If you can’t dance in it, why wear it?!”
Kiko believes that fashion is not only about who looks the best, but also who feels the best in what they wear and how they wear it. It’s about expressing yourself unapologetically.
We can achieve this by bringing well-loved fashion back to life while limiting our carbon footprint.
It is a never-ending dance with Mother Earth.
The path to kiko
Hoarded vintage clothing my whole life.
Worked as an art director for many years.
Decided to take the entrepreneurial path of my dreams by launching Kikos Kloset.
Began dancing and have never stopped.
