This is one of those 1940s dresses that just hits. A soft black velvet bodice with a sweet scalloped neckline hugs perfectly, then drops into the most incredible full taffeta skirt.
The skirt has these beautiful multicolored diagonal stripes that catch the light and move so effortlessly when you walk (or dance). The contrast between the plush velvet top and the crisp, swishy skirt feels playful, bold, and really special.
